RC247 Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

RC247 is a community super-app for the Redemption City community, operated by REDCITIX SERVICES LIMITED ("RC247", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RC247 app, website, and related services (together, the "Services").

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use RC247. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login and PIN secure, and take responsibility for activity on your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may require identity verification (KYC) for certain features.

3. The services

RC247 brings together wallet, bill payments, food, rides, marketplace, logistics, church giving, and related community services in one app. Availability of specific features may vary, and we may add, change, or remove features over time. Some services are provided by third parties through the platform.

4. Wallet & payments

The RC247 wallet lets you fund your balance and pay for services. Payments, top-ups, withdrawals, and bill payments are processed by our partners Paystack, Monnify, and VTpass. You authorise us and these partners to process transactions you initiate. You are responsible for ensuring transaction details (such as recipient, amount, and biller information) are correct, as completed transactions may not be reversible. Fees, where they apply, are shown before you confirm.

5. Orders, rides & deliveries

When you place an order, book a ride, or request a delivery, you enter into a transaction that is fulfilled by a merchant, driver, or service provider on the platform. RC247 facilitates these transactions but is not the manufacturer or primary provider of every product or service. Delivery times, prices, and availability are estimates and may change. Pickup codes and tracking are provided to help confirm and secure handovers.

6. Church giving

RC247 may let you make voluntary contributions and giving to parishes and ministries within the Redemption City community. Giving is processed through the same payment partners. Giving is voluntary and, as with other completed transactions, may not be reversible once confirmed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes; impersonate others; interfere with or attempt to compromise the platform's security; misuse another user's data; or use the Services in any way that harms RC247, its users, merchants, drivers, or the community. We may investigate and take action against violations.

8. Merchants & drivers

If you register as a merchant or driver, additional obligations apply. You agree to provide lawful products and services, fulfil orders honestly and promptly, comply with applicable laws and any onboarding requirements, and maintain accurate payout details. You are responsible for your offerings and conduct on the platform. We may set service standards and may suspend accounts that fall short or that pose risk to users.

9. Intellectual property

RC247, its name, logo, and all related software, designs, and content are owned by REDCITIX SERVICES LIMITED or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to keep RC247 reliable and secure, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party products and services obtained through the platform will meet your expectations. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties not expressly stated here.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, RC247 and REDCITIX SERVICES LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services, or for the acts or omissions of third-party merchants, drivers, or payment partners. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension & termination

You may stop using RC247 and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. We will act reasonably and, where appropriate, give notice.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Nigerian courts, without prejudice to any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection and data-protection law, including the NDPA 2023.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of RC247 after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
