How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the RC247 app (fastest)

Open the RC247 app and sign in.
Tap Profile (bottom navigation).
Open Privacy & Data.
Tap Delete My Account.
Confirm the request. Your account enters a 7-day grace period, during which you can cancel by signing back in. After 7 days, your personal data is permanently deleted.

Option 2 — By email

If you cannot access the app, email support@redcitix.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion. We respond within a reasonable period and confirm once completed.

What is deleted, and what we must keep

When your deletion completes, we permanently remove your personal data. A limited set of financial and transaction records is retained where Nigerian law and our payment partners require it — these are kept only as long as legally necessary and are not used for any other purpose.

Name, email, phone, address

Deleted Permanently removed after the grace period.

Profile & account settings

Deleted Permanently removed.

Precise location data

Deleted Removed; never retained after deletion.

In-app messages

Deleted Removed from your account.

Wallet balance

Deleted Withdraw any balance before deleting; residual balances are handled per our Terms.

Transaction & payment records

Retained Kept where required for financial-record, regulatory, tax, and anti-fraud obligations, then deleted.

Identity verification (NIN/BVN) records

Retained Retained only as required by regulation, then deleted.

Before you delete

Withdraw your wallet balance first. Move any remaining funds to your bank account before requesting deletion.
Deletion is permanent after the 7-day grace period and cannot be undone.
You will lose access to your transaction history, orders, and saved details.
